フランスのぬいぐるみ作家 Anne-Valerie Dupond（アン・ヴァレリー・デュポン）氏の作品との出会いをきっかけに制作をスタート。すべての作品を手作業で、一つひとつの表情を大切にしながら生み出しています。素材の物語、人の物語を1本の糸で紡いで形にし、作り手の一方通行ではなく、作品を通じて作り手と受け手が対話できるものづくりをコンセプトにしています。

Inspired by an encounter with the work of French soft sculpture artist Anne-Valérie Dupond, yuya inagawa began creating his own pieces. Each work is made entirely by hand, with careful attention to its individual expression. Using a single thread to weave together the stories of materials and people, he gives these narratives a tangible form. His approach centres on creating a dialogue between the maker and the recipient through the work itself.
