Yuyainagawa's creations are sewn with recycled fabric, each stitch an outstitch. These pieces have a three-dimensional quality and warmth that mass-produced stuffed animals lack, unique to handcrafted items.
As all pieces are handmade by the artist, they can take 3 to 6 months to complete, and some even over a year.

About the Artist
Yuyainagawa began creating after encountering the works of French stuffed animal artist Anne-Valerie Dupond.
All works are handmade, with great care given to each expression. The concept is to weave the stories of materials and people with a single thread, giving them form. While infusing thoughts and feelings into the work, the materials, and the moment, the aim is not a one-sided communication from maker to recipient, but rather to create pieces through which both can engage in dialogue.
