A blackbuck made entirely by hand from recycled fabric.
An ivory face with a muzzle pieced from black floral and red flower prints. The long spiraling horns are built up from layered brown fabrics, giving it real presence on the wall.
Yuya Inagawa stitches every outer seam by hand, one stitch at a time, giving each piece a depth and warmth that mass-produced dolls lack. Every piece is made by the artist herself and takes several months to complete. We hope you will welcome it into your home.

yuya inagawa
Yuya Inagawa began making her work after encountering the pieces of French soft-sculpture artist Anne-Valerie Dupond. Every piece is made by hand, with careful attention to each expression. Weaving the stories of materials and people together with a single thread, she aims for work that opens a dialogue between maker and owner rather than speaking in one direction.
