Omersa was commissioned in 2018 to create a "large" whale based on a 1950s design.
The whale has been very well received by our customers, so we added a "medium" size, which is a little more relaxed, and a miniature size for your enjoyment. This size was newly added in 2022.
The two larger sizes have many internal frames enclosed in wool wood and can also be used as footstools or side tables. The miniature size has weight inside and can be used as a paperweight.
Whales are available in our traditional brown mahogany and black. Please note that black is not pure black, but has a brown tint.

All our products are exclusively designed by Omersa and Company and manufactured to order in our two workshops in Lincolnshire, England. We have a small team of craftsmen trained in-house in the art of making leather animals.

The leather used by OMERSA considers wrinkles and scratches inherent to natural materials as unique characteristics, and instead of acrylic coating the surface, it is finished to emphasize its natural expression. Therefore, wrinkles and scratches will be present as they are in the product. In addition, as it is very sensitive to moisture, if water or moisture adheres to it, please wipe it lightly with a waste cloth or similar.
