This sized leather rhinoceros (approximately) was originally developed in the 1960’s by Dimitri Omersa as a “LIBERTY” exclusive. The word “LIBERTY” can be found embossed on the inside of an ear of these older pieces. The animal is made from our trade mark cowhide leather. We usually cut the pattern from the neck end of the hide where there are natural markings that give the rhino good character. The panels of leather are top stitched to give a good effect. This size makes a good footstool or occasional seat.

ATTENTION
OMERSA uses natural leather, which means wrinkles and scratches are considered part of its unique character. The surface is not acrylic-coated, preserving its natural texture. Therefore, wrinkles and scratches will be present as natural features in the product.
As you use it over time, the color will deepen and gain luster, and the scratches and wrinkles will become unique characteristics of the owner.
As the surface is not coated, there is a possibility of color transfer.
Please be very careful. Also, as it is very vulnerable to moisture, if water or moisture gets on it, please gently wipe it off with an unnecessary rag or similar.
Preparation for color fading repair: Repair agents should be water-based and permanent.
Wipe off any attached dirt with a cloth moistened with lukewarm water.
