This is a Fat Lava vase from West Germany, made in the 1960s-1970s, from an unknown kiln.

The beautiful silhouette contrasts a slender, elongated neck with a rounded body, creating a vertical line in the space. The lower part is a deep dark brown, and the upper part has a grayish textured glaze, with a natural blend at the boundary.

The unique texture created by the thick glaze and the changes in appearance due to firing enhance the distinctive presence of Fat Lava. Its expression changes with the light, giving it a simple yet profound presence.

It can be used as a single-flower vase or simply as an object to accent the space.

Although it is a vintage item in good condition with no cracks, chips, or other damage, as it is a vintage item from the 1960s-1970s, there may be some age-related scuffs, minor scratches, or glaze irregularities. Please understand these as part of its character before purchasing.

※As vintage items are antique, please purchase with the understanding that they are pre-owned. Additionally, due to the porous nature of ceramic material, there is a possibility of water leakage over time. We recommend using it for decorative purposes.

※We strive to make product photos as close to the actual color as possible, but please understand that the actual product may differ in color.
