A vintage ceramic vase from the 1960s-1970s, believed to have been produced in the Haldensleben region of Germany.
It is a piece with a quiet yet powerful presence, featuring a simple cylindrical form adorned with the characteristic rugged, thick glaze of Fat Lava that circles the body.

The subdued brown glaze smoothly transitions towards the top, and a band of lava-like raised black glaze remains in the central part. The contrast between the glossy surface and the rough texture evokes the experimental beauty typical of West German ceramics from the 1960s-70s.

Despite its minimalist design with restrained decoration, the material's texture and the presence of the glaze naturally add an accent to the space even without flowers, acting as an objet d'art. This vase pairs well with mid-century, industrial, and modern interiors.

Although no manufacturer's mark can be confirmed, it is an atmospheric vintage piece that allows one to enjoy the charm of the Fat Lava style, emblematic of West German ceramic culture of that era.

This is a well-preserved vintage item with no cracks, chips, or flakes, but as it is a vintage piece from the 1960s-1970s, there may be some signs of age such as scuffs, minor scratches, and glaze unevenness. Please understand this as part of its charm before purchasing.

*Vintage items are antiques, so please understand that they are used items before purchasing. Also, due to the porous nature of ceramic material, there is a possibility of water leakage due to aging. We recommend using it for ornamental purposes.

Please note that while we strive to make product photos as close to the actual color as possible, the actual product may differ in color. Thank you for your understanding.
