 Material: Glass

This glass vase was designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld, a Bauhaus designer, and manufactured by the prestigious German company WMF in the 1950s.

This glass vase has a rich expression, with shades of clear blue flowing within. A gradation that shifts from translucent light blue to a deep cobalt blue at the base creates a watery depth when illuminated.

While primarily based on a rounded, almost spherical form, the neck is slightly constricted, softly widening towards the rim. The gentle vertical undulations throughout evoke a sense of subtle movement, imbuing the simple form with an organic rhythm.

This piece harmonizes Wagenfeld's characteristic clear form rooted in functionality with a color expression that highlights the charm of the material itself. It possesses a presence as an objet d'art, while also adding a quiet accent to the space as a single-flower vase.

WMF, a leading German manufacturer founded in 1853, has produced numerous excellent design products throughout its long history. This piece is also a vintage item that embodies the modern design of the 1950s, allowing one to easily enjoy Wagenfeld's aesthetic.

While there are slight scuffs from age, it remains in generally good condition. This glass vase allows you to appreciate the differences in form and beautiful balance when displayed alongside various sizes and designs.
