An entirely handmade bulldog made from recycled fabric.
Works by yuyainagawa are crafted from recycled fabric, with each stitch sewn by hand using an outstitching technique. They possess a three-dimensional quality not found in mass-produced stuffed animals, and a warmth unique to handmade creations.
Since each piece is handmade by the artist, it can take 3 to 6 months to complete, and some longer works may take over a year.

About the Artist
Yuyainagawa began creating after encountering the works of French stuffed animal artist Anne-Valerie Dupond.
All works are handmade, with great care taken for each unique expression. The concept is to weave the stories of materials and people with a single thread, giving them form. While infusing thoughts into the work, materials, and the moment, the aim is not a one-way communication from maker to recipient, but rather to create something through which both can dialogue.
