Yuyainagawa's creations are sewn with outstitching, stitch by stitch, using recycled fabrics. These pieces possess a three-dimensional quality and warmth that cannot be found in mass-produced stuffed animals, characteristic of handmade craftsmanship.
Since each piece is crafted entirely by the artist's hands, it can take 3 to 6 months to complete, and some longer pieces may take over a year.

yuyainagawa began creating after encountering the works of French stuffed animal artist Anne-Valerie Dupond.
