This is an entirely handmade Boston Terrier made from recycled fabric.
Each yuyainagawa piece is sewn stitch by stitch with outstitching using recycled fabric. These works have a three-dimensional quality not found in mass-produced stuffed animals, and a warmth unique to handmade items.
As all pieces are created by the artist herself, it can take 3 to 6 months to complete, and some longer pieces may take over a year.

About the Artist
yuyainagawa began her creative journey after encountering the works of French stuffed animal artist Anne-Valerie Dupond.
All works are handmade, with each expression carefully crafted. Stories of materials and people are woven together with a single thread and brought into form. While imbuing each piece with thoughts for the work, the materials, and the moment, the concept is not a one-way street from creator to recipient, but rather a creation through which both parties can engage in dialogue.

Each owl by Yuyainagawa is created from recycled fabric, stitched entirely by hand with an outstitching technique. The result is a unique three-dimensional form and warmth that cannot be found in mass-produced dolls.
