FAT LAVA Vase SV_007_40

Material: Ceramic

This Fat Lava vase, made in West Germany during the 1960s-1970s, is of unknown origin.

Its rounded body and slightly tapered rim give it a stable, classic form.

The glaze, based on olive green with overlapping bands of black and brown, creates a powerful yet deep appearance characteristic of Fat Lava. The accumulation and granular texture of the glaze, along with natural color variations, contribute to an organic, earthy feel.

Despite its simple, understated design, the presence of the glaze is striking, adding a calm accent to any space simply by placing flowers in it. It's also recommended as a decorative object, and it complements Mid-Century Modern, Vintage Modern, and Scandinavian-style interiors.

While the manufacturer's mark is not visible, this atmospheric vintage ceramic vase fully embodies the charm of the Fat Lava style, symbolic of West German ceramic culture from the 1960s-70s.

This vintage item is in good condition with no cracks, chips, or breaks. However, as it is a vintage item from the 1960s-1970s, there may be some signs of age such as minor wear, scratches, and uneven glaze. Please understand this as part of its character before purchasing.

*Please understand that vintage items are historical and therefore pre-owned. Also, due to the nature of ceramics, there are small pores, which may cause water leakage over time. We recommend using it for display purposes only.

*While we strive to photograph products to be as close to the actual color as possible, please understand that the color may differ slightly from the actual product.
