This is a Fat Lava vase from the 1960s-1970s, produced in West Germany by an unknown kiln.
The thick glaze flows like lava, cracking and overlapping, creating the distinctive powerful expression unique to Fat Lava.

It features a cylindrical form that rises straight up, with a slightly flared mouth, creating a stable silhouette. The uneven lines on the body make the glaze's shades and flow stand out more three-dimensionally.

Although there is no manufacturer's mark, this vintage piece strongly reflects the experimental and free design of the era. It not only serves as a vase for flowers but also as an objet d'art, adding a definite presence to any space.

This is a collectible Fat Lava vase that allows you to enjoy the unique texture of a one-of-a-kind item.

It looks beautiful even when displayed as an objet without flowers, and its elegant form is further accentuated by dried flowers, branches, or greenery. It is a recommended accent for mid-century, modern, and vintage interiors.

Although it is a good vintage item with no cracks, chips, or flakes, as it is a vintage item from the 1960s-1970s, some scuffs, small scratches, and glaze unevenness due to age may be visible. Please understand this as part of its charm when purchasing.

*As vintage items are antiques, please understand that they are pre-owned before purchasing. Also, due to the nature of pottery, which has small pores, there is a possibility of water leakage due to aging. We recommend using it for decorative purposes.

While we strive to photograph products to accurately represent their colors, please understand that there may be slight differences in color between the actual product and the photos.
