This is a Fat Lava vase from the 1960s-1970s, made in West Germany by an unknown kiln.

Its slender, tapering silhouette creates a clean vertical line in any space. The upper part features a matte glaze with a granular texture, and the fine irregularities and variations from firing create a unique expression. The lower part is tightened with a calm dark tone, resulting in a beautiful contrast between the upper and lower sections.

The thick glaze and natural changes from firing give it the distinctive presence characteristic of Fat Lava. Shadows are created depending on how the light hits it, allowing you to enjoy different impressions from various angles.

It's a piece that can be used as a single-flower vase or simply displayed as an objet d'art to add an accent to your space.

It is in good vintage condition with no cracks, chips, or flakes, but as it is a vintage item from the 1960s-1970s, there may be age-related scuffs, minor scratches, or glaze irregularities. Please purchase with an understanding of its unique character.

*Vintage items are old and used, so please purchase with an understanding of their pre-owned condition. Also, due to the porous nature of ceramic material, there is a possibility of water leakage due to aging. We recommend using it for decorative purposes only.

While we strive to photograph products to be as close to their actual color as possible, please understand that there may be instances where the actual product color differs from the image shown.
