Omersa was commissioned in 2018 to create a "Large" whale based on a 1950s design.
The whale has been very popular with our customers, so we added a "medium" size that has a bit more room, and a miniature size for your enjoyment. These sizes were newly added in 2022.
The two larger sizes have a wooden frame inside and can be used as a footstool or a side table. The miniature size has weight inside and can be used as a paperweight.
Whales are available in our traditional brown mahogany and black. Please note that black is not pure black, but has a shade of brown.

All our products are exclusively designed by Omersa and Company and manufactured to order in two workshops in Lincolnshire, England. We have a small team of artisans who are trained in-house in the art of making leather animals.

The leather used by OMERSA is considered to have individual characteristics such as wrinkles and scratches due to its natural properties, and is finished with a natural expression without acrylic coating on the surface. Therefore, wrinkles and scratches will remain on the product as they are. Also, as it is very susceptible to moisture, please gently wipe off any water or moisture with an unnecessary cloth.
