This sized leather rhinoceros (approximately) was originally developed in the 1960’s by Dimitri Omersa as a “LIBERTY” exclusive. The word “LIBERTY” can be found embossed on the inside of an ear of these older pieces. The animal is made from our trade mark cowhide leather. We usually cut the pattern from the neck end of the hide where there are natural markings that give the rhino good character. The panels of leather are top stitched to give a good effect. This size makes a good footstool or occasional seat.

ATTENTION
The leather used by OMERSA treats wrinkles and scratches as characteristics of natural materials. The surface is not acrylic-coated, preserving its natural texture. Therefore, wrinkles and scratches may appear on the product as part of its unique character.
With use, the color will deepen and gain luster over time, and scratches and wrinkles will develop into a unique character for the owner.
As the surface is not coated, there is a possibility of color transfer.
Please be very careful. Also, as it is very sensitive to moisture, if water or moisture gets on it, please wipe it lightly with an unnecessary cloth.
Preparing for color fading repair: Use a water-based, permanent repair agent.
Wipe off any dirt with a cloth dampened with lukewarm water.
