This flamingo is entirely handmade from recycled fabric.
Yuya Inagawa's works, with their outstitching done by hand, stitch by stitch, possess a three-dimensional quality and warmth not found in mass-produced dolls.
As each piece is made entirely by hand by the artist, some pieces can take anywhere from three to six months to complete, and some even up to a year.

Yuya Inagawa began creating art after encountering the works of French stuffed animal artist Anne-Valerie Dupond.
All works are created by hand, with each expression carefully crafted.
The concept of his work is to weave the story of materials and people with a single thread, giving form to these stories, and cherishing the feelings for the work, the materials,
and the present moment. It is not a one-sided expression from the creator, but rather a creative process that fosters dialogue between the creator and the recipient through the artwork.
