10exture SEDITIONARIES CHAOS BLACK

10exture is a neologism derived from "texture." "Tex," an abbreviation of "texture," is a unit representing the thickness of a fiber thread, with its etymology rooted in the Latin "textus" (textile). The term "texture" further extends from the meaning of fabric to encompass the feel and sensation of natural objects like trees and stones, as well as the organization and structure that constitute these superficial sensations, holding an abstract meaning of the material quality of a surface. It is a product design and apparel design label that focuses on "fabric" as the main material, bringing an important "material quality" to design.

This time, we partnered with A Store Robot, which boasts a 35-year history in Harajuku, to develop the original line of "SEDITIONARIES," which Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood started in 1976. A Store Robot's SEDITIONARIES is the only version in the world supervised by Malcolm McLaren himself and has been continuously produced for 30 years. 10exture updates the sizing and material texture based on the brand's concept. The T-shirt collection focused on fabric and sizing.

While incorporating vintage elements, we adopted an inlay knit fabric characterized by a unique surface feel to create a sense of texture. Furthermore, it is made with a single-sided floating knit, giving it a back-brushed appearance. It has a dry touch and a luxurious feel. While maintaining the good coarseness of vintage inlay, it achieves an even better appearance when printed. The size was finished with a relaxed silhouette. The position of the label is based on the original. The print is famous for being worn by Malcolm McLaren when he appeared in the film "The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle." It carries the straightforward message, "Cash From Chaos."
