1960～1970年代に西ドイツで制作された蔵元不明のファットラバ花瓶です。
すらりと伸びるロングネックと丸みを帯びたボディの対比が美しいシルエットで、空間に縦のラインを生み出します。下部は深みのあるダークブラウン、上部はグレイッシュな質感のある釉薬が掛け分けられ、境目には自然な溶け込みが見られます。
厚みのある釉薬が生む独特の質感と、焼成による景色の変化がファットラバらしい存在感を引き立てています。光の当たり方によって表情が変わり、シンプルながら奥行きのある佇まいです。
一輪挿しとしてはもちろん、そのままオブジェとしても空間のアクセントになります。
ヒビ、カケ、チップ等のない良好なヴィンテージ品ですが、1960～1970年代のヴィンテージ品のため経年による擦れや小傷、釉薬ムラなどが見られる場合がございます。風合いとしてご理解の上ご購入ください。

1960年代から1970年代にかけてドイツで製造されていた陶磁器のこと。
溶岩(=LAVA)と形容される独特な表面の仕上がりと、ビビッドで発光の良いカラフルな色合いが特徴で、ヨーロッパでは熱心なコレクターが数多く存在しており、日本でも今でもヴィンテージショップやセレクトショップでも注目されることが多いです。

This is a Fat Lava vase from West Germany, produced in the 1960s-1970s, with an unknown origin.
The beautiful silhouette, with its slender, long neck contrasting with the rounded body, creates a vertical line in the space. The lower part is glazed in a deep dark brown, while the upper part has a grayish texture, with a natural blend at the boundary.
The unique texture created by the thick glaze and the changes in appearance due to firing enhance the distinctive presence of Fat Lava. Its appearance changes depending on how the light hits it, giving it a simple yet profound presence.
It can be used as a single-flower vase, or as an object to accent any space.
