1960～1970年代、西ドイツで制作された蔵元不明のファットラバ花瓶。
深いブラックの釉薬に、ホワイトグレーの釉が流れるように重なり、コントラストの美しい表情を見せる一点です。
丸みを帯びた胴体から口元にかけてなだらかに広がるフォルムは、安定感がありながらも柔らかな印象。口縁部には釉薬が溜まり、滴るようなラインが現れ、胴部には横方向に走る釉薬の帯が描かれています。溶岩（Lava）を思わせる釉調と、艶やかな質感がファットラバ特有の存在感を際立たせています。
装飾性はありながらも全体は落ち着いたトーンのため、花を活けると植物の色彩を引き立て、オブジェとしても空間に静かなアクセントを添えてくれます。ミッドセンチュリー、ヴィンテージモダン、インダストリアルなインテリアとも相性の良い花瓶です。

This Fat Lava vase, of unknown origin, was made in West Germany during the 1960s-1970s.
It features a beautiful contrast, with a deep black glaze overlaid with a flowing white-gray glaze.
The rounded body and gently flared rim create a stable yet soft impression. Glaze pools around the rim, creating a dripping line, while horizontal bands of glaze run along the body. The lava-like glaze texture and lustrous finish highlight the unique presence of Fat Lava.
Despite its decorative nature, the overall tone is subdued, allowing it to enhance the colors of flowers and adding a quiet accent to any space as a decorative object. This vase complements Mid-Century Modern, Vintage Modern, and Industrial interior styles.
