The North Face launched earth friendly footwear collection Velocity Knit Ⅱ.

THE NORTH FACEより環境を配慮したシューズコレクションVelocity KnitIIをリリースした。

シューズは、ローカットとハイカット、シューレース付きの3型を展開。アッパーには100％リサイクル材を、アウトソールには石油成分をカットした自然顔料Vibram N-OILを使用した。GORE-TEX Invisible Fitを用いることにより、高い防水性と透湿性にも優れている。

また、段ボールアーティストの島津冬樹がデザインした再生可能なパッケージも展開。シューズボックスにはミシン目をあしらい、パスポートケースやポーチ、ラゲッジタグ、ピルケースとして使用可能。THE NORTH FACEの店舗や取扱店にて発売中なので興味がある方はぜひ足を運んで頂きたい。

 

The North Face launched earth friendly footwear collection Velocity Knit Ⅱ.

This collection includes 3styles such as high cut, low cut, and with shoe laces. The upper is made of 100% recycled materials and out sole is made with Vibram N-OIL.

Reusable shoe boxes will also be provided. The design is by a cardboard artist Fuyuki Shimazu. The shoe box is perforated and can be used as a passport case, pouch, luggage tag, or pill case.
