LOUIS VUITTON unveiled first unisex and sustainable shoe, Charlie.

Louis Vuittonより初となるユニセックス&サステナブルスニーカーCharlieが公開された。同モデルは、ブランドのエココンセプトに基づいて製作されたモデルで、リサイクル素材やバイオ素材を90％使用、ソールにはリサイクルラバーを94%以上用いている。

また、アッパーにはリサイクルポリエステルとトウモロコシを原料とするプラスチックBiopolioliの層にグレイン加工を施した合成素材を採用。

そのほかにも100%リサイクル素材を使用したシューレースや、廃棄物から作られ、繰り返し再生可能なナイロン繊維ECONYL®を採用したタンパッチなどサステナブルなモデルに仕上がっている。

Louis Vuitton Charlieは、11月発売予定。

These are crafted from 90% recycled and bio-sourced materials, the sneaker pushes sustainability to its helm.

It features signature LV logo on the side, and monogram on the back heel.

The sole is made up of 94% recycled rubber and eco-friendly TENCEL felt packaging.

It will be available in November at LOUIS VUITTON boutiques and website.
