Hedi Slimaneが手掛けるCELINEとアメリカを拠点に活躍するアーティストTyson Reederのコラボレーションがリリース。CANADA IN NEW YORKの代表としても知られるTyson Reeder。彼の作品はニューヨークのDANIEL REICH GALLERY、GAVIN BROWN’S ENTERPRISE、サンフランシスコのJACK HANLEY GALLERYで個展を行うなど、注目を集め、近代美術館にも所蔵されている。今回のコラボレーションでは、彼の作品AUTOBAHNを落とし込んだテディジャケット、ウィンドブレーカー、フーディー、Tシャツ、スニーカーなどを展開。同コラボレーションは、CELINE各店舗にて発売中。
Hedi Slimane's CELINE released collaboration with American artist Tyson Reeder. He is a representative of CANADA IN NEW YORK. Speaking on the collection and his work, Reeder said, “I love using painting as a kind of amplifier or distortion pedal… Where a handful of dead-end subjects — trees, cars, buildings — are allowed to sing a new song of wilfully arbitrary color and pattern.” This collaboration is inspired by his artwork AUTOBAHN and includes teddy jacket, wind breaker, hoodie, and tee.
