The exhibition "LOUIS VUITTON &" starting from March 19th.

LOUIS VUITTONがその160余年におよぶ歴史を巡るエキシビション「LOUIS VUITTON＆」を行うことをアナウンス。 今回のエキシビションのメインテーマは、山本寛斎、藤原ヒロシ（FRAGMENT DESIGN）、草間彌生、NIGO®などの日本人アーティストとのコラボレーションの歴史に焦点を当てることとなっている。このエキシビションは、10のスペースで構成されて、 20世紀初頭に作られたカスタムトランクやガストン-ルイヴィトンによって設計された美しいウィンドウディスプレイ、カール・ラガーフェルド、シンディ・シャーマン、川久保玲、フランク・ゲーリーなどの現代クリエーター、リチャード・プリンスやザハ・ハディッドなどのアーティストとのコラボレーションによる象徴的な「モノグラム」を再解釈したバッグ、 村上隆の「スーパーフラット」コレクションまで幅広く展示。 LOUIS VUITTON &は、3月19日から5月16日まで東京・原宿で開催されるとのことなのでぜひ足を運んで頂きたい。

 

LOUIS VUITTON announced exhibition "LOUIS VUITTON &". One of the main themes of this exhibition is to focus on the history of collaboration with Japanese artists such as Kansai Yamamoto, Hiroshi Fujiwara (FRAGMENT DESIGN), Yayoi Kusama, and NIGO®.
This exhibition consists of 10 spaces. Custom trunks made in the early 20th century and beautiful window displays designed by Gaston-Louis Vuitton. And a bag that reinterpreted the iconic "monogram" by contemporary creators such as Karl Lagerfeld, Cindy Sherman, Rei Kawakubo, Frank Gehry, collaborations with artists such as Richard Prince and Zaha Hadid, and for them. It also introducing Takashi Murakami's "Super Flat" collection. This exhibition starting from March 19th through May 16th in Harajuku, Tokyo.
